When we got to Capitol Reef National Park it was beautiful, but the crowds made us feel the urge to escape to our own quieter view of the surrounding beauty. The drive (which was quite a rough road) was absolutely breathtaking. I can see where it got its name as the formations reach high above you. Along the way, we stopped to see what looked to be rain in the distance. As the clouds passed miles away, the sun shone through and highlighted this bit of ground and rock in front of us. It was a good reminder to be open to the adventure you find.
I have left the edges of this painting unfinished to add a natural border. Painting can be hung from wooden frame (not wired) to sit flush against the wall.
