There is a lot to see in south Florida and the Everglades National Park, but the first thing that really caught my eye was the Anhinga. I had seen them before swimming in lakes and hunting quietly, but they were my favorite thing to watch in and by the water in the Everglades. I loved watching them swim through lily pad-filled waters carefully watching and waiting and then quickly swimming through the dark waters toward what I assumed was their dinner. After their swim, you could see them with wings spread, drying off before their next flight.
I have left the edges of this painting unfinished to add a natural border. Painting can be hung from wooden frame (not wired) to sit flush against the wall.
